A retired Kansas law enforcement veteran, founding nonprofit leader, instructor, and dedicated family man, Greg brings nearly three decades of frontline experience in public safety and a lifelong commitment to lifting up the communities he serves.

28 Years on the Front Lines

Greg's law enforcement career spans 28 years across the Rice County Sheriff's Department and the Kansas Highway Patrol, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant. In that role, he led field operations spanning 17 counties, managing teams and resources across some of Kansas's most demanding jurisdictions.

Beyond patrol and command, Greg spent 22 years as a member of KHP's Special Response Team and served as a crisis negotiator team leader, handling high-stakes situations where calm judgment and decisive leadership were the difference between resolution and escalation. His ability to stay composed under pressure and bring people together in critical moments defined his career.

Training the Next Generation

Greg's impact extends well beyond the field. He served as an instructor at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC), the KHP Training Academy, and the FBI, shaping the next generation of law enforcement professionals with the same discipline and integrity he carried throughout his own career. He holds degrees from Kansas State University, grounding his practical experience with formal education in the field.

A Heart for Service Beyond the Badge

No Stone Unturned Foundation

Greg is a founding member of the No Stone Unturned Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children with special needs and their families. His involvement with No Stone Unturned reflects the same principle that drove his law enforcement career: showing up for the people who need it most, especially those who can't always advocate for themselves.

Today, Greg serves as Outside Sales Manager at Godfrey's Tactical, where he brings his frontline experience and trusted relationships in public safety to help equip the professionals who protect our communities every day.
